Villa Narina is a cozy bed & breakfast in El Gouna on the Red Sea. The villa is situated in a quiet location, directly on one of the numerous lagoons. It has been furnished with great attention to detail using handmade furniture and impresses with its first-class view of the most beautiful sunsets and the wonderful mountain panorama around El Gouna. The two German-speaking hosts are the soul of Villa Narina and look forward to your visit.
Hello and welcome to Villa Narina,
we are Natascha and Sarina and we are the hosts of Villa Narina. You will find our detailed story in the course of this page. Nevertheless, a few words about us. I am Sarina, I studied tourism and have always loved traveling. Even though I have lived in many places around the world, I am and always will be a Munich girl at heart. I've had the idea of having my own bed & breakfast ever since I studied tourism, but I never thought about Egypt, I was more interested in Italy. But Egypt inspired me from the very first second. This country offers so many wonderful places, people and, of course, incredibly good food. The last argument in particular was important to me. I love cooking and I am delighted to be able to spoil you with our breakfast at Villa Narina.
While we're on the subject of introductions, I'll hand over directly to Natascha. Hello, I'm Natascha. My family affectionately call me "globetrotter". I can't blame them. I trained as a real estate agent and have taken every opportunity to travel so far. I love discovering new cultures, learning languages and challenging myself again and again. I think that's exactly why Villa Narina exists today. I'm also very involved in social media and photography, which is why the villa with all its beautiful spots fits perfectly into my scheme of things. Together, Sarina and I are an unbeatable team and master every challenge together. Still haven't had enough of us? Then read on or, even better, come and visit us at Villa Narina.
We, Natascha and Sarina, came up with the idea of "Villa Narina" in a very special way. To be able to take you on our journey so far, we need to expand a little. In the following, we'll tell you how we met, how we came up with the idea of Egypt and how Villa Narina came about.
In May 2021, our connection evolved from "being work colleagues" to "being travel partners". With our laptops in our luggage, we set off for the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. We traveled the island and worked at the same time. Before the trip, Sarina was convinced that she needed a lot of space and therefore opted for a large apartment with separate areas. After the first week that we spent working and living together, it became clear that I, Natascha, had wormed my way into her heart and that she would rather sit on the couch with me than alone in her room.
After an eventful summer in Germany, during which we visited each other in Munich and Frankfurt, we went to Egypt in the fall of 2021. I, Natascha, was not very convinced and was more or less persuaded by Sarina to spend 6 weeks with her in the land of the pharaohs. After the first few days, I realized what a wrong idea I had of the country and how much I liked it. After we visited Cairo, Sokhna and El Gouna together, my interest grew and I joined in Sarina's Egyptian euphoria.
The following spring we spent another two weeks on vacation in El Gouna and became more and more at home. Up to this point, we didn't know what would happen in the coming year. We simply enjoyed our time in a country with guaranteed sunshine all year round.
Our next destination was Sicily. In October 2022, we spent several weeks in different parts of the island and slept in a different bed and breakfast in each place. The accommodations inspired us to share our own ideas and think about running our own bed & breakfast. Without a doubt, only El Gouna came into question for us, which is why we have planned our next trip back to Egypt.
At the beginning of 2023, we took a look at the first villas in El Gouna and started planning. After many days of headaches, sharing fears and talking, we informed our closest circles that we would be moving to Egypt from April 2023 and realizing our dream of Villa Narina. And now we are sitting here, writing our story, hosting our first guests and couldn't be happier.
